My view:
Gayatri mantra is the oldest mantra to the human kind, it is said to be created by Maharshi Vishwamitra. I know Gayatri mantra from my early childhood. I am fortunate to read this book where many unknown facts about Gayatri mantra is given by the author Om Swami.
In order to invoke the mantra author has given 2 ways. The first one is somewhat lenghty, but the second one is very simple and can be done everyday by the general or the person occupied with the family. The author says that just by reciting the mantra doesn't gives that much benefit but by strickly following the steps given in this book gives immense benefit to the follower.
In the book importance to mudras is also given by the author, by simply different mudras one can start mantras at home with limitations also. Here the real stories of different people who have benifited by doing Gayatri mantra is given by the author, which gives busting experience to the readers.
The author has given his best by writing this book, but ultimately the reader has to follow the instructions in order for Spiritual progress. I highly recommend this one of the best book of Gayatri mantra to the Spiritual seekers.
