MY REVIEW of Running for my life one lost boy’s journey
from the killing fields of sudan
to the Olympic games by Lopez Lomong
with Mark Tabb.
I am very glad that booksneeze has
given me an opportunity to write of this New
York time’s No.1 best seller book. In this book Lopez Lomong showed us faith in
himself A faith that could move mountains. He believed in God in every harsh
situation. How his life changed as a boy captured by Sudanese rebels and forced
him to eat with dust and sand in his food. How other boys have been death and
with the help of his
2 angles he escaped from the camp. Lopez
is living a very lucky life.
I think its more of a self help book, it’s beyond inspirational.
One of the thing I liked most is that lopez never once asked “why me” instead
he accept every situation and fully trusted on God. Its interesting god helped
him when he needs more. Lopez demonstrates the importance of leaning on God in
all times and power of trusting in God’s mercy and faithfulness. Men, women, athletes,
non athletes, everyone can take something out of this story.
