My view:
The book is really interesting, a totally new concept
by the author, the novel is about incident already happened and known to the
media, the book is a transcript of how that incident happened and who is
responsible for that is thoroughly defined, here the documentation of
investigation being presented to the readers.
Sakshi prakash a 10 year old girl went missing from
Delhi, which links to already long lost of children’s from that area. The novel
describes that even police commissioner and high official doesn’t care for the
missing children’s, that force’s author to further investigations which leads
to Russia and then to Antarctica which unveils the cruel truth of
humanity.
The story takes the readers from dirty lanes of Delhi
to Russia and further to a secret camp of Antarctica. The writing style of
author is unique; he uses a new technique like Whatsapp conversation, secret
mails etc. I liked the novel it’s an eye opening book on how in the name of
science humans are being used for experiment for their research and they create
panic to use their medicine to make lot of money.
Written in innovative way, a well researched novel on
a particular incident, which keeps readers hooked up till the last page. I
highly recommend this book to mystery lovers and to those who want to read medical
thriller.
**“I received this wonderful book from
Publisher in exchange for an honest and unbiased review, a heartily thank to Harper
Collins for the book.”
Blurb:
When ten-year-old Sakshi goes missing from East Delhi,
almost no one, including the police, seems too concerned. Not until a curious
journalist begins to ask questions. Soon, she cracks open a can of worms, and
what started as an innocuous investigation into corruption and systemic apathy
begins to reek of a larger and terrifying conspiracy, as chilling secrets and
long-dead skeletons tumble out.
Pieced together using police reports, detailed
interviews, leaked emails, WhatsApp conversations and much more, this
extraordinary debut takes you from the by lanes of Delhi and the communist bunkers
of Russia to the frozen grounds of Antarctica, following a trail that will
leave you questioning what is real and what isn’t.
