My View:
Excellent, I highly appreciated the work of debut
author, especially her writing style is too good, and it seems you are watching
a Hollywood movie. While surfing through the net I came across this book, at
the first sight I mailed to writersmelon for book review, and glad they
accepted my request and sent me the book.
Till the last page utmost secret being maintained by
the author, which keeps you hooked up, and there is twist and turn in every chapter;
which makes the book perfect page turner. In one word if you want to say about
this book, it’s like a historical fantasy. Initially when I started I thought
it’s about war with British raj and historical event but then story shifted to
horror, zombies, black magic, mystery, suspense, lord Rama, Shiva’s Trishul and
at last Suparnkha with Ravana. You cant judged the book there are mysterious
twist and turns till the last page.
I don’t want to reveal the entire plot but a short
synopsis: the book starts after the end of war between Ram and Ravana; hanuman
the protector of mankind secretly hides a mysterious thing called Tarikshir in
some place of Rajasthan. Then in present era when Britisher’s threatens Raja
Ravindra Singh a powerful ruler of Devangarh kingdom in Rajasthan to surrender,
a mysterious death of Raja makes his son Rudra Pratap chauhan to fight against
British. Further investigating his father’s death Rudra unveils many secrets
about his kingdom and the links to Tarikshir. Now, I don’t want to reveal the
entire so grab the book and read it, its fantastic read for this Diwali.
Now the positive thing about book is the writing style
of the author it’s so easy and good that words flow like a river, no difficult
jargons being used; which is another plus point. I highly recommend this book
to historical, mythological and fantasy lovers, a must read.
Interesting lines from the book:
- The most dangerous of God’s creation is man, and he is the creature who we will be pitted against. He will be as cunning as a fox, as slippery as a snake, and as vile as a jackal. Page no 25
- Not attempting the task due to fear of failure is worse than failure itself. Page no 140.
“I received this beautiful book from writersmelon.com
in exchange for an honest and unbiased review”
