Dear Friends after many days because of Diwali holiday i was unable to post anything in my blog so today i would like to share with you all some Aerobics or Health tips.

Aerobic exercise is one of the best exercise to do as it is a safe and a complete workout as well as a fun sport to do. Doing aerobics regularly can improve one’s heart rate, body condition and state of mind. Aerobics helps relax the tense muscles and a regular aerobics activity can make you feel happier.
The term “aerobics” literally means with oxygen. It implies that the body is using oxygen supplied for low and moderate intensity physical activities that are constant such as biking, jogging, etc. The body’s aerobic system works like an old water pump which need to be started a number of times before we get the desired result. Similarly, aerobic exercise plays the same role in the human body by pumping out deeply accumulated fat from inside the body.
Aerobics is an excellent way for a person to achieve physical fitness. A person performing aerobics has increased heart rate and increased metabolism rate. Increased metabolism rate speeds up sweating and eventually accelerates the fat burning process thereby resulting in the weight loss.
Carrying out aerobics has become the most happening workout trend among the both the youth as well as the aged. In this fast paced work, aerobics is just the right actions. A few moments of continuous aerobic workout leads to various health benefits. Aerobics involves using large muscle groups for a repetitively for a sustained amount of time. One of the plus points of aerobics is that it can be enjoyed even with the extended period of time. The most common types of aerobics include aerobic dance, bicycling, fitness walking and running, stair climbing and swimming. Dancing and continuous sports activity like running can improve circulation and overall cardiovascular health.

The benefits of aerobics include:
• It strengthens the body including the weight bearing bones and the cardiovascular muscles.
• It helps in losing the body weight and in toning up the body muscles.
• It is very easy and widely enjoyed form of physical exercise and can be enjoyed by people of all age groups. However, it is not recommended for very small children pregnant women. And elder people should perform it for a short duration.
• It increases blood circulation and lowers blood glucose and blood sugar levels.
• It increases oxygen supply to heart, lungs and blood vessels and thereby, results in the smooth functioning of the body.
• Aerobic workout is a great stress buster and acts as an effective remedy for depression, anxiety and tension. It helps to a great extent in the rejuvenation of the mind.
• It also boosts up the body immune system.
However, following precautions should be followed before and after the aerobics for getting the maximum benefits:
• Warm-up exercises should be performed at least 10-15 minutes before commencing the aerobics.
• Always wear perfect fitting clothes while doing aerobics. This is because loose clothes may restrict the free movements of the arms and legs.
• Bring in the necessary variations in the steps and make them personalized according to your body needs and requirements.
• Always cool down after performing the exercise. Stretching exercise should be done for 10 minutes after performing the workouts.
• Drink water (though not ice cold) few minutes after the workouts.

INDIA'S BIGGEST SCAM (Putting scam money to good use)

Recently i have read a good article on Yahoo by Deepak Shenoy on Sep 2, 2011. Just go through it

As India immerses itself into removing corruption, it's important to understand what the past scams cost us. But talking in mere amounts isn't fruitful. After all, does 55,000 crore rupees sound bad? How much worse is it than a mere 50,000 crores? (Answer: 1,000 kilometers of highway worse, or the stretch from Bangalore to Mumbai)
The biggest scam that unfortunately doesn't get classified as one is that food enough to feed 100 million people rots in government warehouses.  For the rest, we have for you an infographic that puts the amounts in context, how much we could have done. For past scams we have adjusted the amount for inflation to reflect an equivalent in 2011 — the Rs. 5,000 crore Harshad Mehta Scam for instance is worth Rs. 15,000 cr. today.
Here's all that we could have done with the money lost to some of the biggest scams in India.

Book Review : The Fight Of Our Lives

The Fight of Our Lives : Knowing the Enemy, Speaking the Truth & Choosing To Win The War Against Radical Islam’ by William Bennett and Seth Leibsohn is an whistle blower book against Terrorism, an warning to the supporters of terrorism. Willam Bennett and Seth Leibsohn have provided an In-depth knowledge of Past. They have researched thoroughly. I was shocked by reading this book that why CIA and American Government was not taking any steps against this terrorist even though they know the culprits in their own circle. I am not an political reader but I am glad that I have selected this book to read. I must say that every other country of the world is facing terrorism. We the Indian who are facing radical Islam for more than 50 years.

Both the authors were able to hold everyone attention because the information was presented in a clear and chronological historical narrative that made the facts they were presenting even more alarming. The incident of Fort Hood mascara is very touchy.  This book was written to expose the issues surrounding this very controversial topic and to make you think.  Please, think and stand up for USA. That’s all that is being asked. Then go and do something about it. I must recommend this book to all walks of life.

I received a copy of the book The Fight of Our Lives by William J. Bennett and Seth Leibsohn from Thomas Nelson as part of their BookSneeze program for bloggers.  All opinions are mine and very glad to provide my reviews.

Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from the publisher through the BookSneeze®.com <http://booksneeze®.com/> book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255

The Top 200 Secrets of Success and the Pillars of Self-Mastery

Dear friends i am back with new items after a long time. So please read it and provide your valuable reviews.

Today i am going to provide The Top 10 Secrets of Success and the Pillars of Self-Mastery given by the renowned writters "Robin S. Sharma. Who has written the best seller "The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari"

  1. Sleep less. This is one of the best investments you can make to make your life more
productive and rewarding. Most people do not need more than 6 hours to maintain an
excellent state of health. Try getting up one hour earlier for 21 days and it will develop
into a powerful habit. Remember, it is the quality not the quantity of sleep that is
important. And just imagine having an extra 30 hours a month to spend on the things that
    are important to you.
  2. Set aside one hour every morning for personal development matters. Meditate, visualize
your day, read inspirational texts to set the tone of your day, listen to motivational tapes
or read great literature. Take this quiet period to vitalize and energize your spirit for the
productive day ahead. Watch the sun rise once a week or be with nature. Starting the day
off well is a powerful strategy for self-renewal and personal effectiveness.
  3. Do not allow those things that matter the most in your life be at the mercy of activities
that matter the least. Every day, take the time to ask yourself the question "is this the best
use of my time and energy?" Time management is life management so guard your time
    with great care.
  4. Use the rubber band method to condition your mind to focus solely on the most positive
elements in your life. Place a rubber band around your wrist. Each time a negative,
energy sapping thought enters your mind, snap the rubber band. Through the power of
conditioning, your mind will associate pain with negative thinking and you will soon
    possess a strongly positive mindset.
  5. Always answer the phone with enthusiasm in your voice and show your appreciation for
the caller. Good phone manners are essential. To convey authority on the line, stand up.
This will instill further confidence in your voice.
  6. Throughout the day we all get inspiration and excellent ideas. Keep a set of cards (the
size of business cards; available at most stationary stores) in your wallet along with a
pencil to jot down these insights. When you get home, put the ideas in a central place
such as a coil notepad and review them from time to time. As noted by Oliver Wendell
Holmes: "Man's mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original
  7. Set aside every Sunday evening for yourself and be strongly disciplined with this habit.
Use this period to plan your week, visualize your encounters and what you want to
achieve, to read new materials and inspirational books, to listen to soft soothing music
and to simply relax. This habit will serve as your anchor to keep you focused, motivated
and effective throughout the coming week.
  8. Always remember the key principle that the quality of your life is the quality of your
communication. This means the way you communicate with others and, more
importantly, the way you communicate with yourself. What you focus on is what you get.
If you look for the positive this is what you get. This is a fundamental law of Nature.
  9. Stay on purpose, not on outcome. In other words, do the task because it is what you love
to do or because it will help someone or is a valuable exercise. Don't do it for the money
or the recognition. Those will come naturally. This is the way of the world.
  10. Laugh for five minutes in the mirror each morning. Steve Martin does. Laughter activates
many beneficial chemicals within the body that place us into a very joyous state.
Laughter also returns the body to a state of balance. Laughter therapy has been regularly
used to heal persons with varied ailments and is a wonderful tonic for life's ills. While the
average 4 year old laughs 500 times a day, the average adult is lucky to laugh 15 times a
day. Revitalize the habit of laughter, it will put far more living into your life.
Actually Robin Sharma has given 200 secrets but rightnow i am providing only first 10 so next time i will provide more. Hope you all will find it interesting.

Digital Camera Basic Knowledge

Digital Camera

Every advance in technology creates new terms, acronyms and definitions. The digital camera revolution is no different. When shopping for your first digital camera, it is always good to know the lingo. Saves you from that stupid feeling one often gets when speaking with sales people. I hope this glossary helps.
The size of the lens opening, which controls how much light, passes through the lens. Aperture is measured in f-stops. A higher number equals a smaller amount of light. Most digital
cameras allow manual aperture settings.
Auto Focus
This feature automatically focuses your picture at the touch of a button. By pressing slightly on the shutter release, the auto focus feature of the camera is activated.
The CCD (charged couple device) is the electronic imaging device that forms your picture in the camera. In other words, it is the electronic version of film for a digital camera. The higher pixel counts in the CCD, the more detailed image.
Digital Image Stabilization
A process by which blurring in pictures caused by camera movement is minimized and possibly eliminated.

Digital Zoom
A function which can enlarge a picture by increasing the size of the pixels. This often results in some fuzziness of the subject.
DPI stands for dots per inch. It also refers to the resolutions of the picture. The higher the DPI, the sharper the picture.
F-stop is the number assigned to a particular size opening on the aperture. The higher the number, the small the opening. Larger numbers admit less light; smaller numbers admit more light.
File Format
This is the way digital pictures are stored. The most common formats are jpeg, GIF, tiff and RAW. The format being used appears at the end of the file name.
A gigabyte (GB) is a measure of data storage capacity. It is approximately on billion bytes.

LCD Screen
The liquid crystal display (LCD) screen is used to set and view digital pictures immediately after taking them.
A feature that allows a camera to take extreme close-ups of the subject.
A megabyte (MB) is a measure of data storage capacity. It is approximately one million bytes.
A megapixel is a unit of measurement in a digital picture. A megapixel equals on million pixels. The higher the megapixel total the higher the picture resolution.
Memory Card / Media Card
A memory card is a small electronic device that stores images. Storage capacities range from 16 MB to 4 GB. It is capable of storing still images or video.
Graininess in an image, caused by too little light or a defect in the electrical signal generated during the image capture process.
Optical Zoom
A type of zoom on a digital camera that enlarges the subject by the use of glass lenses. It is the most important type of zoom on a digital camera.
Recycling Time
This is the amount of time it takes for a digital camera to ready itself for the next shot.
Red Eye Reduction/Red Eye Removal
This is a process by which red eye coloring is reduced or eliminated. Red eye is more common in low light situations when the pupils are wide open. Light reflecting off the back of the eye causes it.
Scene Modes
Scene modes are pre-set programs in a digital camera that adjusts the camera to specific picture taking situations.
USB Connectivity
A popular way of connecting all sorts of devices such as a digital camera to computers. USB connectivity is used to download your photos from the camera to the computer.
